LICHTBLICK, Bellevue federal palace, Berlin
Lichtblick is a light installation on the federal palace Bellevue, the seat of Germanys federal president Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Greetings from the president and the people illuminate the facade three nights in Dezember 2020. The project was planned as a visible statement by the President of the federal Republic of Germany during the Corona pandemic and was realized within a very short time and streamed live. Around 90 visitors only were allowed on site in the public outdoor area of the castle.

Six main statements from the president where accompanied by over 1000 statements and wishes from the public about the pandemic effects on social life, gathered online daily and added to the projection until the last day.
