WITHOUT WORDS YES, NO, PARDON?, HOW?, HMM I SEE COME ON OK, BYE ...

Who couldn‘t identify that sequence of words as part of a telephone
call, and who couldn‘t from this conversational fragment glean at
least an inkling of life‘s little stories.
In three languages the Literaturhaus Munich, interface between
communication, the public and culture, offers mini dramas of this
sort played out for passers–by. The architecture plays the syntax,
the square stone blocks speak or remain silent until the dialogue
evaporates into the heavens and one turns one‘s attention reflectively
back to one‘s own conversations and telephone calls with
their multitude of “sound gestures”, which often convey more than
a thousand words.
