Detlef Hartung – Georg Trenz

The square in front of the Scharfrichterhaus in Passau, formerly the hangman‘s home, now a well–known cultural venue, was covered with a grid of light made up of connotations of the words Zwischen (between), Zweck (purpose) and Zwang (compulsion).

A loose texture formed from the term Gedankenfreiheit (freedom of thought) was projected on to the walls in the Scharfrichterhaus gallery.
